The purpose of this trudy is to describe and analyze the Kendo deucation classes at the University by the means of ethnographic research method.
The field work for this study was conducted by the researcher from March., 2004 to May., 2004 at the University. Instead of drawing specific conclusion of the study, the problems which appeared in real physical education classes are desrbled here.
1) Kendo education Professor tends to adhere to traditiona (existing) teaching contents and methods rather than inquire or research on the contents of his classes.
2) Students usually recognize that Kendo education is the same as mental practice, control exercise, or Beautiful sport.
3) Professor's feedbacks are given 2,3 times per minute during students' practice period, and the learning climate becomes positive.
4) Professor's feedbacks are given concentratively to students who are lacking in task performing ability or are disturbing their classes, rather than to all students.
5) In many cases, teaching methods make the situations in which control are needed.
