빅데이터를 통해 바라본 ‘영유아교사 교권침해’에 대한 사회적 인식 = Social Awareness of “Infringement of Early Childhood Teachers’ Rights” Examined via Big Data

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 빅데이터를 분석하여 ‘영유아교사 교권침해’에 대한 사회적 인식을 살펴봄으로써 우리 사회가 이를 어떻게 바라보고 이해하는지를 파악하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이에 「아동복지법」개정 및 삭제 이슈를 계기로 정부가 「아동복지법」개정 의사를 밝힌 2021년 12월 21일부터 2023년 12월 20일까지 ‘영유아교사＋교권＋침해’ 검색어를 중심으로 국내 온라인 텍스트 데이터 키워드를 TF-IDF, 중심성 및 CONCOR 분석하였다. 먼저 TF-IDF 분석 결과, ‘아동’, ‘학부모’, ‘영유아교사’, ‘보호’, ‘교육’ 등 주제와 관련된 인물 · 장소가 높은 빈도를 차지했다. 이는 연결 · 근접 · 매개중심성 분석에서도 높게 나타났다. 마지막으로 CONCOR 분석 결과, ‘교권침해가 사회적으로 주목받게 된 사건 및 그 여파’, ‘공식적 지지체계’, ‘교육적 상황에서 침해된 교권’, ‘교사의 인권 보장 요구’, ‘생활지도 측면에서의 교권침해 법안 논의’, ‘악성 민원 및 아동학대 신고에 의한 교권 상실’, ‘비공식적 지지체계’, ‘어린이집 교사의 권리’ 즉 8개의 군집이 제시되었다. 본 연구를 통해 교권회복의 필요성을 인식하는 대중, 교권침해와 아동의 보호권 행사 간의 관계, 학부모와 교사의 동등한 협력관계 개선 등 교권침해 논란의 현주소를 구조적으로 파악할 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to understand how our society perceives ‘infringement of teaching rights of early childhood teachers’ by analyzing big data. For this purpose, raw data was collected with ‘early childhood educator＋rights＋violation’ keywords based on the big data provided by TEXTOM. The TF-IDF, Centrality, and CONCOR analyses were conducted from December 21, 2021 to December 20, 2023. The results were as follows. First, the TF-IDF analysis highlighted that terms related to ‘child’, ‘parent’, ‘early childhood educator’, ‘protection’, and ‘education’ were frequently mentioned, indicating their significant relevance to the topic. This was further confirmed by Centrality analysis, showcasing the importance of these terms in the discourse. Second, the CONCOR analysis revealed eight clusters: ‘events and their aftermath drawing social attention to rights violations’, ‘formal support systems’, ‘rights violations within educational settings’, ‘demands for the protection of teachers’ rights’, ‘discussions on behavior management legislation’, ‘the link between the undermining of teachers’ rights and child abuse reports’, ‘informal support systems’, and ‘the rights of daycare center teachers’. This study is meaningful in that it revealed the public recognition of the need to restore teaching authority, the relationship between infringement of teaching authority and the right to protect children, as well as the need to improve the equal partnership between parents and teachers.
