1970년대 國內公演場의 리모델링에 관한 標本硏究 = A Sample Study on the Remodelling for the Domestgic Theater in 1970s

The purpose of this study is to give the basic information for the remodelling of the theater through the analysis of the needs of the National Theater of Korea in remodelling instruction. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The common elements of theater remodelling are image improvement, new function, improvement of environment through the architectural, facility repletion for the diversification because of decrepitude of exterior and interior material. 2) More positive instructions are needed instead of passive confrontation for barrier free facilities. 3) Natural ventilation and lighting are demanded as one of the important conditions in theater remodelling. 4) Remodelling demands for the functional improvement of multipurpose hall through the electric movable proscenium arch, dividing orchestra pit, multi-functional stage mechanism etc. are analysed as general requirements in common multipurpose large scaled hall. 5) Maintain of sufficient storage and improvement of working traffic line must be considered in theater remodelling. 6) Guarantee for the sight line is aroused as the most significant problem in auditorium but security problem of handrail at balcony is also regarded as important problem. 7) The improvement of lobby and green rooms for the audience and the performers are demanded, at same time fixing convenience and storage adjacency to the office are demanded for the theater staffs. It represents the concerning for the managers who are estranged in the past when it is compared with audiences and performers. 8) Through the instruction for the tour course in the theater, the intention of theater is revealed that as the representative hall, the national theater must be the place of cultural trip or sightseeing course more than the place of performing arts. 9) The instructions for roof garden, internet cafe, educational space for cultural experiencing and cultural marketing place shows that the theaters of nowadays must be the space for the culture, leisure and education.
