목조 건축문화재에 사용된 구조⋅보강용 전통 철물의 재사용 방안 연구 = The Reuse Methods of Traditional Metal Hardware for Reinforcing the Structure of Korea Traditional Wooden Building

국문 초록 (Abstract)

목조 건축문화재에 사용된 구조⋅보강용 전통 철물의 관리 활용성을 높이기 위해 재사용 방안을 제시함으로써 실제 문화재 수리 현장에 적용할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 목조 건축문화재에서 수습된 철물을 대상으로 하여 손상 유형 및 손상 정도에 따라 가열 및 두드림, 열처 리 등의 공정을 적용하여 철물의 형태와 기능을 회복하였다. 또한, 철물의 가공 전⋅후의 형태학적 특성 및 금속학적 분석을 통한 물성 변화를 비교하였다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 건축문화재의 수리 ⋅복원 과정에서 기존 부재와 기와를 사용하듯 전통 철물도 또한 기존에 사용되었던 철물을 재사용 하여 관리 활용성을 높일 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 추후 문화재 해체⋅보수과정에서 수습되는 기존 의 전통 부재에 대한 재사용 및 활용 가능성 연구를 지속적으로 진행한다면 문화재 수리⋅복원의 진정성을 확보할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
