Research Purpose: The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the impact of the proportion of female management in Chinese environmental pollution companies on corporate value.
Research Methods: This research method used STATA 17, conducted Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis, and interpreted based on the significance level p<0.1 (90%).
Results in Research: Research Results Research Hypothesis 1 was adopted as the results of multiple regression analysis of Research Hypothesis 1 showed that the proportion of female executives among Chinese listed companies had a positive effect on corporate value. The verification results of Research Hypothesis 2 were rejected because the statistical significance of multiple regression analysis results could not be confirmed.
Research Conclusion: The conclusion of the study is that, first, in the verification results of Hypothesis 1 of this study, it can be interpreted that the higher the proportion of female management among Chinese listed companies, the higher the corporate value. Second, among the control variables of Research Model 1, the higher the return on total assets is, the smaller the size of the company, the higher the corporate value, the longer the List Age, the higher the corporate value, and the higher the proportion of female management in the sample of environmentally polluted companies among Chinese listed companies when audited by large accounting firms.
