This study has been performed to promote the productivity and quality of car seat rails. In order to search new molding technology, it was verified thorough 3-D CAE analysis and proto mold. Molding process and bending analysis were carried by using data from 3-D modeling. In this study, development of the progressive die for car seat rail could be improved degree of precision of products and reduced production process. Being bend, effect of spring back could minimize with high pressure of up-and-down PAD. Production speed of transfer die has denoted 20~25SPM, but production speed of progressive die could improve almost double productivity. Besides car seat rail, It was recommended that the new engineering development of this study could extended its realm, for example in sliding rail and molding of bending parts.
