In terms of Optional Measuring System composed of multiple Measuring Modules, synchronization among the Measuring Modules is a crucial functional factor as it allows the improvement of the underling defect for abnormal conditions by analyzing causal and time relationship among data.
In this paper, we have adopted a method based on IRIG-B record from the receiver of a GPS in order to conduct the synchronization of Measuring System. Furthermore, in order to prove the validity, we have conducted time synchronization simulation on two embedded Measuring Modules and confirmed that the credible synchronization time is 10ms. Synchronization using IRIG-B and Embedded Measuring Modules is not influenced by external forces such as server and network, and the process is implemented in the absolute time standard allowing it to be used and applied for various purposes.
