고대근동 지혜문헌들에서 발견되는 전도서 병행구절 = A study on the parallel versions of the Ecclesiastes found in the Ancient Near Eastern wisdom documents

In particular, it is easy to find things parallel to the wisdom literature of ancient Near East in the biblical wisdom literature. These wisdom literatures have developed into unique wisdom ideas through sharing or borrowing. Ecclesiastes, which can be described as Biblical Wisdom Literature, can also find that many of the ideas of Qohellet are easily found among the Ancient Near Eastern Wisdom Literatures. What we have discovered through this study is that the ideas of Qohellet are in many ways in common with the wisdom literature of the Ancient Near East. But Ecclesiastes has a place of life and theology that is unique. It can be said that it is the unique theology of Qohellet. Ecclesiastes share similar content and style similar to those of Ancient Near Eastern literature, but we can find that the faith of Yahweh is deeply rooted in Qohellet's thought.
The work of the Ancient Near East, whether or Qohellet, says that the human being living under the sun has a finite life. Humans living in a finite life in the world are active and order to be faithful to their given life. The reason is that human beings soon die. Qohellet also commands that life under the sun is a gift God has given to human beings, so that they will do their best with joy. Both of them demand the pursuit of life, which is joy and pleasure, for the life given to man, but Qohellet encourages to live by thinking God's judgment always in his life. This can also be said to be his theology of what Qohellet is trying to say.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

성서의 지혜문학들 속에서 고대근동의 지혜문학들과 병행되는 것들을 쉽게 발견할 수 있다. 이런 지혜문학들은 서로 공유하거나 차용을 통해 자신들만의 고유하고 독특한 지혜사상들로 발전시켰다. 성경의 지혜문학이라 말할 수 있는 전도서 역시 코헬렛의 많은 사상들이 고대근동의 지혜문학들 가운데서 쉽게 발견된다. 본 연구를 통해 발견한 사실은 코헬렛의 사상들이 고대근동의 지혜문학들과 많은 점에서 병행하고 있지만 이스라엘만의 고유한 삶의 자리를 가지고 있다는 것이다. 그것은 코헬렛의 고유한 신학이며 신앙이라 말할 수 있다. 고대근동 문학들은 유사한 내용 및 문체 등을 함께 공유하지만 코헬렛의 사상 속에는 야훼신앙이 깊이 뿌리내리고 있음을 발견할 수 있다.
코헬렛이든 고대근동의 작품들 속에서 해 아래서 살아가는 인간의 생명은 유한하다. 한결같이 이들 작품들은 유한한 삶을 살아가는 인간은 기쁨과 즐거움 속에서 주어진 삶에 충실할 것을 명령한다. 이유는 인간은 곧 죽음의 현실을 맞이하기 때문이다. 코헬렛 역시 해아래 삶은 하나님께서 인간에게 주신 선물이기에 최선을 다해 기쁨으로 삶을 살아갈 것을 명령한다. 두 작품들 모두 인간에게 주어진 삶에 대해 기쁨과 즐거움 등 적극인 삶의 추구를 요구한다. 코헬렛은 삶 속에서 하나님의 심판을 늘 생각하면서 살아갈 것을 권고한다. 이 역시 코헬렛이 말하고자하는 그의 신학이며 신앙이다.
