개화기(開化期)의 여자복식과 사상(思想)에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Woman's Costume and Thoughts in the Chosun Dynasty

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this study is to examine the Korean women's costume and thought during the period of enlightenment(1876-1910)in the Chosun Dynasty.
At that time there appeared various changes in the Korean costume, which also revealed the changing ideas of the general public. The Korean formal costume of those days is on a par with that of Chinese, art it showed leveling and of self-consolidating as of equal rights for men and women.
In this way thought of equality began to appear in the Korean costume during the age of enlightenment, but a time-honoured tradition was more persistent. It was since 1910,that thought of enlightenment(thought of equality and that of self-consolidation)began to permeate among the people.
