The study on the speed control method of single-phase induction motor drive using Phase-Locked Loop(PLL) system is discussed.
In this system, the phase frequency detector(PFD) compares the actual motor speed form the pulses received from a shaft encoder and desired speed, the phase·frequency difference adjusts the frequency of inverter that feeds motor.
At the testing result, motor speed control at steady state has been obtained by 920~2100(rpm), the speed regulation was 0.068(%).
