여성 친화적 도시개발에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Female Friendly Urban Development - Focusing on Case Analysis of 44 US Cities -

44 cities in the United States have identified examples of excellent cities for women, families, and children. Women-friendly cities recognize the difference between gender and urban spaces approach urban development and urban planning with a focus on female-centered perspectives, creating a women-friendly city space that ultimately leads to a livable city and a human rights city. However, if women and cities are overly restricted to women, and they are only women-centered, this could be a city for women only and there may be a fear of reverse discrimination. Therefore, women s friendly urban development should be a policy that reflects women s needs first, and should be a concept that moves toward a city for all people by eliminating the inconvenience in city services such as safety, caring and public transportation, public health system.
