Purpose: This study aims to examine bowling club members` life quality by analyzing it by sex, age, marital status, academic career, occupation, and income, and to attain that, this research investigates the actual status of bowling club members` motivation of participation and exercise immersion regarding their life satisfaction Method: The subjects of this paper are 310 members of 8 bowling alleys located in Jeonju-si, Iksan-si, and Wanju-gun in Jeollabuk-do, and the study employs the convenience sampling method. The questionnaire includes 6 items about general characteristics, 20 items about motivation of participation, 11 items about exercise immersion, and 9 items for life satisfaction. The collected data went through computational processing by using SPSS 18.0 according to the purpose of data analysis. As the analysis method, Frequencies Analysis and Pearson correlation coefficients were used to conduct Correlation Analysis among variables, and also, t-test, One-Way ANOVA, and Standard Multiple Regression Analysis were performed. Result: Results gained from this study are as follows. Firstly, as for the bowling club members, women than men in sex, the 50`s for motivation of participation and the 30`s for exercise immersion and life satisfaction in age, the married regarding motivation of participation and exercise immersion in their marital status, the owner-operators regarding motivation of participation and professionals regarding exercise immersion in their occupations, and high-income class regarding motivation of participation and exercise immersion in their income showed higher values. However there was no significant difference in their academic career. Secondly, according to the bowling club members` motivation of participation, there was significant difference in their health orientation and hobby orientation regarding emotional satisfaction, health orientation, family orientation, and hobby orientation regarding social satisfaction, and also health orientation, hobby orientation, and self-development regarding physical satisfaction. And regarding their exercise immersion, there was significant difference in cognitive immersion for emotional satisfaction and also cognitive immersion and behavioral immersion for social satisfaction and physical satisfaction. Thirdly, according to the bowling club members` motivation of participation, there was significant difference in health orientation and hobby orientation regarding cognitive immersion and also self-development, hobby orientation, and family orientation regarding behavioral immersion. Conclusion: Firstly, motivation of participation, exercise immersion and life satisfaction partially differed by bowling club members` general characteristic. Secondly, bowling club members` motivation of participation and exercise immersion had a significant impact on their life satisfaction. Thirdly, bowling club members` motivation of participation had great influence on their exercise immersion.
