The paper is part of an on-going study, that of which is to understand why despite the upgraded quality of esources, “competition” for businesses at present is severe than ever before; thus showing low growth in the private sector. Historically, as civilizations become knowledgable and experienced, affairs within such a society tend to render its “means of resolution” much
easier. But the actual outcome, especially that of the corporate world, is quite the contrary. Although generalizing must be refrained - since the difference in circumstance definitely vary country by country - based on consensus, the US and North Asia plus the EU, are nations that should be actively benefitting more than any other from the advancements of today's civilization. However, though success has been enjoyed by the countries mentioned above, with a just as well evermore competitive environment at hand, whether such success can continue remains questionable. Therefore in order to understand why the impact from “richness of means” falls short for the current corporate sector, a survey was conducted. The scope of the survey is somewhat narrow, as it was conducted only within the South Korean private sector; nonetheless, the outcome of the survey was able to enlighten the reasons of the fall out with productive implications to consider in overcoming the concerns.
