One of the main objectives of this paper is to identify the effect of employees' capabilities on corporate performance through the process of technology commercialization in SMEs. Employing a structural model we performed a factor
analysis based on a questionnaire survey. The results showed that, for the factors determining employees' capabilities, all of the factors such as job ability, knowledge and technical capabilities have significant impacts on technology commercialization. Also, technology commercialization, consisted of technology implementation, production execution, marketing, and networking capabilities, are affecting corporate performance. We conclude that employees's
capabilities are one of the critical factors for SMEs' corporate performance, which implies the importance of persistent on-the-job training
