With the beginning of the industrial revolution. the increasing use of fossil fuels and natural resources are perpetuating the environmental degradation and its environmental pressure has reached to the limit of its natural capacity. Changes in global atmosphere chemical mixture and global climate change are representative signs of God-created nature being destroyed. Recently, environmentally sound and sustainable development is central to current concerns about natural preservation and economic and energy development. In this vein, the paper examines key environment-related socio-political and economic approaches comparing with the Biblical perspective. Major inquiry are as follows: how our Christians should understand theses problems? What can our Christians do in coping with these issues? How much significantly important of these efforts in terms of the Bible? What can we learn from the Bible in finding the causes and solutions of problems? Are there many differences of socio-economic and scientific approaches from those of the Biblical perspective, how different?
