사마리아 그룹의 요한공동체 편입과 성장 = The Incorporation of the Samaritan Group into the Johannine Community and its Growth in the Community

Reorganizing the history of Johannine Community, R. E. Brown mentioned that the Samaritan Group was incorporated into the Johannine Community. But his argument for the incorporation of the Samaritan Group into the Johannine Community is just a broad-brush approach, as mentioned in his book The Community of the Beloved Disciple. In this article incorporation of the Samaritan into the Johannine Community is reorganized with the story of the Samaritan Woman in John 4:1-12. Being incorporated into the Johannine Community, the Samaritan Group passed through four steps; baptism, opening Messianism, attending Johannine Worship, sharing the Messianic Secret of the Johannine Community. They took the significant position in the Johannine Community and made the other Samaritan Group incorporate into the Johannine Community to harden their position. Through the double incorporation of the Samaritan Groups, Johannine Community partially had the Samaritan Characteristics.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

브라운(R. E. Brown)은 요한공동체의 역사를 재구성하면서 사마리아 그룹 이 요한공동체에 편입되었음을 언급하였다. 그러나 그의 사마리아 그룹의 요한 공동체 편입에 대한 논의는 이미 자신도 『요한공동체의 역사와 신학』에서 밝혔 듯이 개괄적인 논의에 그치고 있다. 본 소고는 사마리아 여인 이야기가 언급된 요 4:1-42를 통하여 사마리아 그 룹의 요한공동체 편입을 재구성하려 하였다. 사마리아 그룹은 요한공동체에 편 입하면서 수세(受洗), 자신들의 메시아 신앙 공개, 요한공동체 예배의 참여, 요한 공동체 메시아 비밀의 공유의 단계를 거치게 된다. 사마리아 그룹은 요한공동체 의 메시아 비밀까지 공유하게 됨으로써 요한공동체의 주요한 그룹으로 자리를 굳히게 되고, 자신들의 입지를 더욱 확고히 하기 위하여 사마리아 선교를 통하여 두 번째 사마리아 그룹이 요한공동체에 편입하도록 한다. 이와 같이 두 차례에 걸 친 사마리아 그룹의 요한공동체 편입을 통하여 요한공동체는 부분적으로 사마리 아적 특징을 갖게 된다.
