This study demonstrated the preceding decoding to two Hyangchal(旀, 体). The result of this study follow as; 1. The Hyangchal(旀/㫆) is decoded to ‘myə’(며)which is a character made by Eummanja(음만자) which borrow the whole sound from t...
This study demonstrated the preceding decoding to two Hyangchal(旀, 体). The result of this study follow as;
1. The Hyangchal(旀/㫆) is decoded to ‘myə’(며)which is a character made by Eummanja(음만자) which borrow the whole sound from the Chinese character(彌). The grounds of the argument are two. First is fact that vowel of the Chinese characters(妻, 西) which have a same vowel as Chinese character(彌) changed from ‘yei/yǝi’ to ‘yǝ’, ‘i’ in China. Second is fact that vowel of the Chinese characters(妻, 西) changed from ‘yei/yǝi’ to ‘yǝ’, ‘ǝ’ in Korea.
2. It is demonstrated in other aspects that the Hyangchal(旀/㫆) is decoded to ‘myə’(며). Other aspects are two. First is fact that vowel of the Chinese characters(體, 麗, 制, 勢, 細, 誓, 底, 第) which have a similar vowel with Chinese character(彌) changed from ‘yei/yǝi’ to ‘yǝ’, ‘i’ in China. Second is fact that vowel of the Chinese characters(體, 勢, 細, 誓) is ‘yei/yǝi’ and ‘yǝ’ in middle Korean.
3. As a result of Eummanja in above 1 and 2, there is no persuasion in the remark that the Hyangchal(旀/㫆, /myə/) is made by cutting the final vowel(/i/) in the whole vowel(yei/yǝi) of the Chinese character(彌, /myei/ or /myǝi/).
4. The Hyangchal(体) in the words(佛体, 直体) is decoded to /t‘yə/(텨) which is a character made by Eummanja which borrow the whole sound from the Chinese character(体, /t‘yə/). The grounds of the argument are two in above 1 and 2.
5. The Hyangchal(体) in the word(同体) need to the more study to set /t‘yə/(텨) or /t‘yəi, t‘yei/(톄).
