새로운 지지체계 연결이 여성 노인의 사회정서적 고립완화에 미치는 영향

This study aims at investigating the impact of social networking services on the elderly women living alone. A project that recruits, trains, and matches volunteers for isolated elderly women in Seoul. The volunteers visited recipients` home once or twice a week and provided friendly visiting services and home maid services. This study employed one group pre-test and post-test design to collect data from recipients. The result shows that the linkage of new social support system to the elderly women who are living alone had significant effects on the recipients` socio-emotional condition. But loneliness score of the recipient had not been changed. The contribution of volunteer networking may depend on the quality and quantity of the volunteers input.
