『제대로 된 통역⋅번역의 이해』의 이론과 실제 그리고 평가 = Evaluation on Application of Theory and Practice on Understanding Proper Interpretation and Translation

국문 초록 (Abstract)

『제대로 된 통역⋅번역의 이해』는 모두 네 파트에 걸쳐서 통역과 번역의 개념, 통역 번역의 핵심 개념, 통역과 번역의 이론, 통역과 번역의 실제를 다루고 있다. “통역이나 번역은 실제적이기만 하면 되고, 이론은 필요 없다”는 얇은 편견을 이 책을 통해 깨트리고 있다. 단순한 번역이나 통역의 수행 역할을넘어, 학문으로써도 통역이나 번역은 체계적으로 다루어질 필요가 있으며 이론과 실제가 합쳐진 예술작품이라는 것을 이 책을 통하여 실감하게 되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

All four parts of Understanding Interpretation and Translation deal with the concepts of interpretation & translation, the core concepts of interpretation & translation, the theory of interpretation & translation, and the reality of interpretation and translation. Through this book, we can break the thin prejudice that "translation or interpretation only needs to be practical, and no theory is needed." Beyond the role of simple translation or interpretation, I realized through this book that interpretation or translation needs to be dealt with systematically as an academic study, and that it is artwork that combines theory and practice.
