The obligations implied in the possession of such a religion as that which we enjoy do not relate only to ourselves. We are bound to extend its blessings to others. It is the duty--not only the privilege, but the duty--of every one, to do what he is able to promote its cause in the world. Ability and opportunity, as it has been often said, are the ground of obligation, no less than the express command of God.
