Vibration test is a key element to verify the safety of an automobile's structural parts. The jig for vibration endurance test has to have endurance durability at all conditions of vibration over long periods of time. The jig and test parts must be free from resonance during the endurance test and it should be verified before manufacturing the jig. In this study, a Finite Element Method is applied to analyze the resonance frequency and the calculation results are utilized to modify the jig design. A good agreement was found between the experimentally obtained frequency and the calculated results. Based on this, a new design for the vibration endurance test jig was arrived at and it was verified to be good for the vibration endurance test (free from resonance).
