This study was conducted to find out how college students' positive psychological capital affects their major commitment and career preparation behavior. The subjects of this study were 288 college students from universities in Seoul and the metropolitan area, and the statistical processing of the collected data was conducted with the IBM SPSS v23.0 program. First, the results of the study were recognized as "normal" or higher as a result of analyzing the level of positive psychological capital, major immersion, and career preparation behavior of college students. Second, as a result of examining the relationship between positive psychological capital, major commitment, and career preparation behavior of college students, there was a significant correlation. Third, as a result of examining how college students' positive psychological capital affects major commitment and career preparation behavior, college students' positive psychological capital has a significant impact on major commitment and career preparation behavior. As sub-variables, self-efficacy, hope, and resilience showed a significant influence on major commitment, and self-efficacy and hope were identified as predictors of career preparation behavior. Through this study, it is meaningful that the higher the positive psychological capital of college students, the higher the major commitment and the higher the career preparation behavior.
