This study aims to find out the perception of college students on the lowering of the age of Chokbeop boys in relation to juvenile crimes. The research method focused on presenting individual opinions and consisted of interviews with a small number of students. The results of this study are as follows. First, college students were very inclined to approve of the lowering of the age of Chokbeop boys. These results show the perception that the expectation of a change in behavior through weak punishment and edification has already reached its limit. Therefore, it is necessary to lower the age of the Chokbeop boys. Second, it is necessary to focus on the criminal act itself and develop a discussion on the lowering of the age of Chokbeop boys. From various opinions and claims about Chokbeop boys, there was a very high perception that the argument that age reduction was not necessary from a comprehensive perspective, such as the juvenile crime rate and the juvenile crime rate, was not appropriate. Third, the Supreme Court Administration's claim that lowering the upper age of juvenile offenders to 13 cannot be a fundamental solution is a self-contradiction that cannot read the changes of the times. Fourth, there are some experts who cannot escape from the Good Child Syndrome, which tries to show their good heart, by opposing the lowering of the age of the Chokbeop boys.
