북한이탈청소년들의 학교문화적응과 무용수업 적용효과 = Effect of Dancing Class and Adaption to School Culture of North Korean Youth Defectors in South Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The objects of this study is to understand North Korean youth defectors` adaption to school culture by dancing class through ethnographic approach of North Korean youth defectors at H alternative school located in S city. To achieve this object of the study, following subjects were examined in details: First, Which factors are there about North Korean youth defectors` adaption to school culture? Second, Which changing factors and effects are there about dancing class? The results from this study of above subjects are as in the followings: First, North Korean youth defectors have experienced many difficulties in their adaption to the South Korean society and felt anxiety with no confidence about their future. It showed that they had many difficulties not only about adaption to school culture but also about adaption to the social culture. Second, North Korean youth defectors did not have a good feeling about dancing class but perceived that they could have a new experience through dancing class and also it was helpful for their understanding about and adaption to the South Korean culture. Also, as dancing class repeated, they changed to have much more active attitude with an interest in dancing and teacher`s taking interest in and caring for the students worked as a very important factor, while they could have confidence through their practicing times in the sweat.
