There has been a new wave of challenges, in a various ways, in the 1990s art, leading to Post-modernist works such as Dadaism, deconstructionism, minimalism and avant-garde in art, sculpture, architecture, literature and etc. These attempts have also made their effects on fashion and hair style in general, which emphasized creativities. The aim of this research is to carry out the more creative hair image work, adapting formatives and creativeness of Frank Gary`s architectures to the “beauty” art context. Background study has been carried out researching books, articles and internet, in order to analyse the characteristics of deconstructionism and Frank Gary`s architectures. In addition, the picture analyses have also been done so as to analyse the characteristics of the images of the architectures, leading to an empirical study. After having done the background study, the “Up-style” hair has been selected to express the organic features of that period of architectures. The great primitive forms such as cubes, cones, spheres and cylinders have been applied to illustrate the three-dimensional representation. One of the Frank Gary architectural features is the use of the complex curves, forming gently leading wave pattern. To apply the so-mentioned characteristic in the “Up-style” hair, the hair has not been coloured. Thus, the simple rhythms of lines have been emphasized. Accessories, made of felt, paper and ribbon, have been used to express simplicity and large swings.
