탐색 및 놀이활동 중심의 1, 2 세 영아프로그램의 개발 및 그 효과에 대한 연구 = Development of Infant / Toddler Program based on Play and Exploration

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 1, 2세 영아를 위한 탐색 및 놀이활동 중심의 프로그램을 개발한 후, 현장에 적용하여 그 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 본 프로그램은 영아의 전인적인 발달에 초점을 두고 자발적인 탐색 및 놀이가 일어날 수 있도록 제시, 탐색, 놀이, 놀이확장을 고려하여 구성되었으며, 평가와 교육과정이 통합되는 프로그램으로 개발되었다. 신체운동, 조작, 의사소통, 모방과 역할, 창의적 활동영역별로 34개씩 총 170개 활동이 개발되었다. 서울에 위치한 어린이집 9개 기관의 1, 2세 영아 221명(교육집단 128, 비교집단 93)을 표집한 후 교육집단에게 9개월간 프로그램을 적용하였다. 그 효과를 사전·사후 영아발달평가 및 수행평가를 통하여 검증한 결과, 교육집단이 비교집단보다 전반적인 발달정도가 높았으며, 탐색과 놀이를 보다 많이 하였다. 결과적으로, 본 프로그램은 1, 2세 영아의 발달을 지원하는 교육적 효율성이 높은 것으로 보인다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to develop an infant/toddler program based on play and exploration and to examine the effects of its implementation. This program is developed to support the comprehensive development of infants and toddlers and to facilitate their voluntary exploration and play, using the frame of presentation-exploration-play -extended play. A total of 170 activities, 34 activities for each of 5 areas (physical motor, manipulative, socio-communicative, imitation and role-play, and creative activities) were constructed and applied in 5 child care centers located in Seoul for 9 months. A total of 221 one and two-year-olds (128 for an education group; 93 for a comparative group) participated in this study. The effects of the program were measured by the pre-and post-evaluation of infants and toddler development and by an evaluation of play behavior. The results revealed that the educational group showed higher developmental level and more exploration and play behaviors than the comparative group.
