      The Relationship Among Dance Confidence, Self-esteem and College Adjustment of Undergraduates Majoring Dance in China

      This research analyzed the importance of the sense of self-confidence and Self-esteem of Chinese dance majors in college adjustment. It is necessary to research for undergraduates to integrate well into the collective and promote learning and development. The purpose of this research is to clarify the impact of the dance confidence and Self-esteem of Chinese dance majors on the adjustment of college life.
      For this research, the following four hypotheses were formulated. ① There will be differences according to demographic characteristics. ② The differences in dance confidence, Self-esteem, and college adjustment among Chinese dance majors will influence each other. ③ The sense of Self-esteem of Chinese dance majors will have an impact on dance confidence and college adjustment. ④ The dance confidence of Chinese dance majors will have an impact on college adjustment.
      In order to achieve this goal, from January 21 to February 28, 2021, total 338 questionnaires in the 1st to 4th grades of Chinese undergraduates majoring dance in Beijing, China were used for the actual analysis.
      The composed questionnaire consisted of demographic characteristics, dance confidence, Self-esteem, and college adjustment, and data analysis was exploratory factor, reliability and validity, correlation and multiple regression analysis, and mediating effect analysis were conducted. Based on these research processes and data analysis results, this study drew the following conclusions.
      It was found that there was a difference between each variable according to demographic characteristics. It was found that the sense of dance confidence of Chinese dance majors has effect on the sense of Self-esteem. It was found that the sense of Self-esteem of Chinese dance majors has a significant impact on college adjustment. It was found that the dance confidence of Chinese dance majors
      has a significant impact on college adjustment. According to the survey, the inner self-confidence and the outer self-confidence of the dance confidence have a positive impact on the college adjustment, the
      love for the university, the social adaptation, and the personal emotional adaptation. Among them, the influence of inner self-confidence is greater.
      It is hoped that the following research results can improve the self-esteem of Chinese dance majors, reduce stress, and improve the adaptability of college life.
