This study purposed to investigate the therapeutic value of existential art therapy by finding the meaning of existence and existential life in the therapy process for professionals who asked existential questions. To this end, the researcher organized a the ten sessions of the existential art therapy program, conducted internal extended art work and journal writing with 6 professionals, and performed 2 in-depth individual interviews. Each meeting consisted of two sessions and its duration was between 4 hours 30 minutes to 5 hours. The research method was an ontological inquiry and the research results were as follows. First, the participants perceived their suppressed selves while working and their tensed bodies experienced relaxation by staying in the 'here and now.' Second, by facing their fears, they overcame the fear of evaluation, let go of attachment as an existential subject, and experienced their original mind and emotions. Third, the participants discovered their inner desire to escape from the stereotypical framework of life by experiencing freedom, and accepted themselves as existential subjects who took responsibility. Fourth, they discovered the meaning of life and got answers to the questions of existence. Based on these findings, the study discussed the significance and limitations.
