This study aims to explore the outcomes and success factors of the Lifelong Education Center for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities in G City, Gyeonggi Province(hereinafter referred to as DD Lifelong Edu Center). An intrinsic case study approach was used, and various data sources were comprehensively analyzed including FGI transcripts from stakeholders, survey data from affiliated agency practitioners, and newspaper articles, etc. Outcomes were highlighted in three dimensions: User dimension(reduction in challenging behaviors, etc.), family dimension (reduction in caregiving stress, etc.), and institutional dimension(establishment of a position as a regional hub center, etc.). The success factors include: User-centered and social inclusion-based center operations and services; organizational culture characterized as mutual respect and open communication, dedicated staff with qualities of social workers; trust-based relationships between service users(and their families) and the center; responsive local collaboration with partner institutions; local government support. Based on the results, this study discusses operational strategies for DD Lifelong Edu Centers and addresses future challenges.
