This thesis is about what North Korean migrant women who participated in the democratic citizenship education of group A remember what kind of education content they remembered in connection with their lives after participating in the education for more than ten years, and how it influenced the course of life in Korean society afterwards. We looked at it based on dictation. Data collection was conducted using various methods such as face-to-face, written, and zoom, targeting 12 participants.
The female participants were deeply impressed by the free and new election process in South Korea, which contrasts with North Korean society, and created a new understanding and insight into Korean society through the education process. In the hardships women go through while pursuing a new leap of adaptation, rather, they show how to create a driving force to build a new self-identity by integrating the knowledge and experience acquired in South Korean society with the independent perception and identity internalized in North Korean society.
