대장종양의 c-myc와 c-H-ras 산물 및 표피성장인자에 관한 면역조직학적 연구 = The Immunohistologic Study of c-myc, c-H-ras Products and Epidermal Growth Factor on Colorectal Tumors

To understand distribution of c-myc, c-H-ras products and epidermal growth factor(EGF) on tumor cells and neighboring normal cells, formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissue blocks of 22 cases of adenoma and 23 cases of adenocarcinoma of colorectum were selected. And immunoenzyme histologic staining using antibodies against each oncogenes and EGF, and microscopic examination revealed;
1. Products of c-myc were noted in 18.2% of adenomas, 34.8% of carcinomas and 26% of normal neighboring tissue around lesion of cancer cases. Normal tissue around adenomas did not show any evidence of c-myc products.
2. Products c-H-ras were detected in 27.3% of adenomas and 73.9% of carcinomas. The products were also detected on normal tissue in 9.0% of neighboring adenomas and 47.8% of neighboring carcinomas.
3. EGF was detected in 45.6% of adenomas and 34.8% of carcinomas. Normal tissue surrounding tumor nests also revealed EGF in 36.4% of adenomas and 65.2% of carcinomas.
