This study explores how the social economy impacts the subjective well-beingof community residents. Using the 2019 Seoul Survey Data, a multipleregression analysis shows that the social economy enhances the subjectivewell-being of Seoul citizens. Based on these results, this study highlights theimportance of amplifying the social performance of the social economy sector inthe regional community. It presents related policy and practical implications toimprove social economy organizations’ social performance at the regional level,including aspects such as social capital, relational goods, and collectiveexternalities. This study is significant because it evaluates the collective socialperformance of social economy organizations, whereas previous studies havefocused on the social performance of individual organizations.
