Devishng the teaching model of Senior High School's Physical Education is aimed at improving its curriculum more effectively than now and making the most of physical education by making a teaching model which has a clear object and can apply to actual teaching.
The teaching model of physical Education can be divided into three steps ; the steps of plan, diagnosis, teaching and development. In the step of plan, the teacher draw up the teaching plan with a clear aim. In the step of diagnosis, the teacher makes aoiagnosis in advance as to whether the students have the basic ability to learn and he guides them by that result. In the step of teaching and development, this teaching model is subdivided into subordinate steps, such as scheme, diagnosis, the grasping of problems, the device of plan, drill and skill. Lastly, the step of evaluation goes through four courses;checking-up and the use of the result given. I made this resurt with a view to making practicalapplication on the teaching spot of the high school's curriculum of physical Education, based on Korean Institute of Education Development's Teaching Model.
This teaching model can be changed according to readiness of the students , their interest in learning, the actual circumstances of the schools.
It is difficult to take these problems into consideration. However, I made this research in order to applicate the newly revised Curriculum of Physical Education to the classroom education, and help it serve as a good guide to improve future teaching lesson model. The results of putting this research into practice are these:
1. Physical Deucation was made the most of by means of improving the curriculum more effectively than than now by establishing the teaching model which has a clear object and is applicable to teaching in the classroom.
2. This research helped establish teaching model appropriate to textbooks and served to improve the teaching skill of the teachers.
3. This research gave the students much interest in learning, because they could learn concretely and effectively.
4. The students solved the problems on their own, and so they could learn positively and in various ways.
