Public Administration in Taiwan, initial stage, ground stage, transforming stage, exuviate stage, corporatization, administrative reform act This paper exams the development of public administration in Taiwan. In terms of three perspectives, it helps us to catch the overview of PA in Taiwan. They include: the origins of the PA in Taiwan which can be traced back to the period after World War II, the four stages of the PA development in Taiwan, and two important issues discussed in current PA of Taiwan. Through this paper, we expect to provide a broad and basic understanding of PA in Taiwan.
