The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning of one elementary school teacher by examining the process and method of conducting writing education and how it has grown through writing education. To examine this, ‘narrative exploration’ using the teacher’s personal and practical knowledge was selected as a research method.
As a result of the study, the factors that played an important role in the change and growth of writing education of the study participant, Teacher Kang, were “your own writing education to try despite difficulties and anxiety” and “continuous writing performance as an author.” The above two factors played an important role in creating personal and practical knowledge only for instructors on writing education while interacting.
This study is meaningful in that it investigated the composition of teachers’ personal and practical knowledge about writing education, efforts and concerns to form a professional identity as a teacher, and the connection between individual life and teacher’s life.
