This study explores the effects of leadership of small-medium enterprise’s CEO on organizational culture and members of organization’s sense of happiness. Based on surveys done by workers of small-medium enterprises’; in the circumstances that most of workers serve small-medium enterprises, in this way, the workers’ happiness could be in that people in Korea’s happiness index. This makes meanings on study of happy working life of workers who serve small-medium enterprise.
On this research, sample object is scaled by seven points scale for studying the effects of leadership of small-medium firm’s CEO on organizational culture and organization member’s sense of happiness, and data from 194 workers who still serve small-medium firm and live within capital area were used in actual analysis, also data processing about the result of survey was dealt by using Windows SPSS 12.0 statistics package.
According to the result of study, among the types of small-medium firm’s CEO’s leadership, it is revealed that transactional leadership brought positive effect on organizational culture, whereas transformational leadership brought negative effect on the organization’s culture.
It is sure that CEO’s leadership have effect on happiness of members of organization, however, regarding to transformational leadership, it tends to have negative effect on the happiness of members since transformational leadership itself brings some pressure to members of the organization.
In this sense, it is verified that organizational culture has positive effect on the sense of happiness of members, and also leadership of small-medium firm’s CEO has positive effect on the sense of happiness of members through the organizational culture.
