梁启超对晚清探索精神的塑造与新小说 = Liang Qichao s Promotion and Shaping of the Exploring Spirit in the Late Qing Dynasty and the New Novels

국문 초록 (Abstract)

梁啓超로 대표되는 清末의 선진지식인들은 사람의 정신 개조와 민족정신을 고취시키는데 큰 관심을 표명하였다. 梁啓超는 外國文學의 번역 소개나 자신이 직접 창작한 저술을 통해 새時代의 民族精神을 고취시키고자 하였다. 그는 “新民”을 시대적 핵심이론으로 간주하면서, 民族精神과 時代精神이 국가의 생존과 벌전에 중요한 작용을 한다는 사실을 강조하였다. 또한 歐美와 日本 등 선진국가의 思想文化를 도입하여, 現代의 政治理想과 科學精神의 追從과 같은 민족 문화 가운데에서 적극적으로 받아 들일 부분을 찾고자 노력하였다.
梁啓超가 적극적으로 주창했던 噺小說’에는 낙후된 현 상황을 바꾸고자 하는 중국인들의 절박한 바람과 이상적인 사회형태에 대한 갈망을 담고 있었다. 특히 선진지식인들은 부지런히 새로운 出路를 모색하였고, 과감하게 신세계를 개척하려는 熱情과 信念을 가지고 있었는데, 바로 이런 사실이 傳統文學의 구태 의연한 내용을 뛰어넘어 문학의 새로운 세계를 창조해내게 되었다.

The advanced intellectuals represented by Liang Qichao in the late Qing Dynasty paid much attention to the transformation of people and the shaping of national spirit. Liang Qichao tried to revive the national spirit of the new era with the help of foreign literature translation and personally written works. He put forward “New People” as the core concept of the times, he emphasized the important role of the national spirit and the spirit of the times on the survival and development of the country, he hopes to introduce the ideology and culture of advanced countries such as Europe, America and Japan to stimulate the active elements in the national culture, and he especially admires modem political ideals and scientific spirit. The “new novel” actively advocated by Liang Qichao carries the Chinese people's urgent desire to change the backward status quo and the desire for the ideal social form. Examining the “new novel” can reveal that it contains rich information such as the transformation of the Chinese people’s ideological concepts and the characteristics of the spirit of the times, especially the enthusiasm and faith of advanced people who are diligent in exploring new ways and bravely opening up new worlds. This approach breaks through the old connotation of traditional literature and creates a new world of literature.
