Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the effect of body action therapy on the imbalance and muscle tension of the overhead square and hamstring of elite gymnasts at K University Through body shape tests, real-time movement evaluations and mechanical properties tests of muscles for gymnasts characteristics. we tried to find a wa y to minimize the possibility of damage in terms of rehabilitation to the imbalance and muscle tone of the overhead squat and hamstring. Methods: Static posture (front, side, back, Adams’ test) Dynamic posture(Overhead squat, Hamstring) and mechanical properties (muscle tone) were measured. Two-way repeated ANOVA was conducted by calculating descriptive statistics and frequency analysis, and the mean and standard error (SD) for each item. Results: As a result of Body Action Therapy, the overall musculoskeletal index score in body shape analysis decreased to a post-mortem average of ± -4.50. However, the imbalance is progressing at ±3.30 in the control group, so it is thought that Body Action Therapy has a positive effect on body shape imbalance for male gymnasts. The training group of the hamstring item had an average of ±10.40 after death, and the control group had an average of ±-0.15, improving the hamstring of the training group. In terms of muscle tension, the vertebrae (p<.01) and the scallops of the stomata (p<.05) influenced the change in the interaction effect score for each treatment period control groups. Conclusion: Therefore, it was found that the imbalance and muscle tone of the Hamstring conducted on elite male gymnasts for 8 weeks had a positive effect on the change, which is considered to be a program that can help male gymnasts to prevent injuries and recover from fatigue.
