문학교육 담론에서의 생태학 적용 시도에 대한 비판적 검토

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고는 생태학을 문학교육에 적용하려고 시도하였던 주요한 논의들의 내용 및 방식을 비판적으로 검토하고, 이를 통해 문학교육에서의 생태학 도입을 위한 새로운 시사점들을 도출하는 데 목적이 있다.
본고는 이를 위해 문학교육에서의 생태학 적용 논의들을 ‘생태학적 사유 체계 도입’노선, ‘생태주의 이념의 구현을 위한 체제 구성적 접근’ 노선, ‘생태주의 이념의 구현을 위한 제재 구성적 접근’으로 구분하여 검토하였다. ‘생태학적 사유 체계 도입’ 노선은 분절적 문학교육의 한계를 극복하게 한다는 의의가 있다. ‘생태주의 이념의 구현을 위한 체제 구성적 접근’ 노선은 거시적이고 근본적 차원의 생태주의 도입을 가능하게 한다는 의의가 있다. ‘생태주의 이념의 구현을 위한 제재 구성적 접근’ 노선은 가장 적용 가능성이 높은 전략이 될 수 있다. 그러나 각각 노선의 의의만큼 한계 역시 분명하게 확인되었으며, 이에 본고는 생태학의 문학교육적 적용을 위한 새로운 전략으로서 생태 비평의 ‘동일 개념 변위 전략’을 검토할 수 있음을 제언하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this paper is to critically review the contents and methods of major discussions that attempted to apply ecology to literature education, and to draw new implications for the introduction of ecology in literature education.
To this end, this paper divides the discussions on the application of ecology in literature education into the ‘introduction of an ecological thinking system’ route, the ‘system constructive approach for the realization of the ideology of ecologism’, and the ‘materials-constructive approach for the realization of the ideology of ecologism’ and reviewed. The route of ‘introduction of an ecological thinking system’ is meaningful in that it overcomes the limitations of articulated literary education. The route of ‘system constructive approach for the realization of the ideology of ecologism’ is meaningful in that it enables the introduction of ecology at a macroscopic and fundamental level. The route of ‘materials-constructive approach for the realization of the ideology of ecologism’ can be the most applicable strategy. However, limitations were also clearly identified as much as the significance of each route, and this paper suggested that the ‘strategy to displace the same concept’ of ecological criticism could be reviewed as a new strategy for the application of ecology literature education.
