미래교육으로서 예술의 역할 탐구 : 학교 예술교육을 위한 컨설팅 경험을 중심으로 = Exploring the role of art as future education : Focusing on consulting experience for school art education

This study is about the case of a school that wants to practice art education at the time of future education. We are next to report on the direction of art education in the field and the role of art needed for future generations based on the experience of researchers who were practicing schools and looking at cases where the entire school is declining and becoming an art class. The school participating in the research is S Elementary School, which opened in County J in 1959 and was newly built and moved to a small city called the same county in 2019. PCB participated for two years from 2020 to 2021 when I received art education at S Elementary School. The data collected to show the evidence were summarized through writing, emotional writing, and request writing through videos, photos, interviews, index diaries, document data, observations, activity results, emails, and text, hourly, and star analysis. Through this case, the role that arts education in school can play as future education is as follows. First, it promotes equal education by constructing an equal culture of school members. Second, promote community solidarity for sustainable art activities. Third, in the process of creating and demolishing the art site, art activities that consider the environment can be devised, and empathy in the post-humanism era can be developed. The researcher's exploration of the role of art as future education is a small effort to preserve the realm of art that gives the next generation a sense of identity as a human being.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 미래교육으로서 예술교육을 실천하고자 하는 어느 한 초등학교의 사례에 대한 탐구이다. 학교 전체가 미술관이 되고 예술 놀이터가 되는 사례를 살펴보고, 실행 학교의 컨설팅을 맡았던 연구자의 경험을 바탕으로 현장의 예술교육을 위한 컨설팅의 방향과 미래 세대에 필요한 예술의 역할에 대해 고민해 보고자 하였다. 연구 참여 학교는 S초등학교로, 1959년 J군에 개교했으며, 2019년 같은 군 내의 작은 혁신도시로 신축하여 이전한 초등학교이다. 연구자는 S초등학교의 예술교육 컨설팅을 맡아 2020년부터 2021년까지 2년 간 참여하게 되었다. 사례를 보여주기 위해 수집한 자료로는 동영상, 사진, 인터뷰, 연구자 일기, 문서자료, 관찰, 활동결과물, 이메일, 문자이며, 시간별, 주제별 분석을 통해 기술적 글쓰기와 감성적 글쓰기, 논리적 글쓰기로 과정과 결과를 정리하였다. 본 사례를 통해 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 학교 내에서 이루어지는 예술교육을 위한 컨설팅 방향은 첫째, 학내 구성원과의 대화를 통한 설계 둘째, 학교, 지역 사회, 아동의 특성을 고려한 운영 셋째, 관리자의 의지와 담당자의 역량을 고려한 운영 넷째, 업무로서 예술교육 활동의 중요성과 독립성 확보였다. 아울러 미래교육으로서 할 수 있는 역할은 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 학교 구성원의 평등한 문화를 구성하여 평등한 교육으로 나아가게 한다. 둘째, 지속 가능한 예술 활동을 위한 지역 사회의 연대를 촉진시킨다. 셋째, 예술터를 조성하고 철거하는 과정 속에서 환경을 생각하는 예술 활동을 구안하게 되어, 포스트휴머니즘 시대의 공감 능력을 기를 수 있다. 연구자가 미래교육으로서 예술의 역할을 탐구하는 일은 미래를 살아갈 다음 세대에게 인간다운 인간으로서 정체성을 갖게 하는 예술의 영역을 보존하고자 하는 노력이다.
