In this study presents an experimental study and CFD analysis for enhancement of hood performance in the Over the range. The outlet size of OTR microwave oven is limited by the industrial standards in North America. For high hood performance, like that powerful ventilation, dual ventilation, fast ventilation performance, it should be installed a ventilation motor bottom location and use two ventilation motors. And duct will be designed at least friction loss. In this study Air guide bracket shape is not fit so do not effect. To enhancement of hood performance will be designed outer duct of lower and upper length is 635.0mm 254.0mm and inner duct of lower and upper length is 285.0mm 125.0mm. Outer duct and inner duct of width size is same 72.0mm, height 358.0mm.
We fixed the outer and inner duct size as a result of CFD analysis and experiment. The result shows what optimum data of flow rate of the OTR.
