製紙廢水處理場 슬러지의 燒却處分에 關한 硏究 = A Study on the Incineration of the Sludge from the Papermill Wastewater Treatment Plant

The techique for combustion of paper mill sludge were studied, and obtained results were as follows:
1. As paper mill sludge comprise much combustible materials, combustion is ths most economical disposal of the sludge, and the resulting heat is used for production of steam which is available for paper making process effectively.
2. Before sludge combustion, pretreatments such as thickening, dewatering and dring of the sludge are needed.
3. The moisture content and melting state of sludge-ash influence the combustion efficiency significantely.
4. The sludge-ash of paper mill sludge can be used for fertilizer and soil improving material, but too addition of it into soil is harmfull for plants.
