The research aims to analyze the resources of the provincial park, in which the environment is being damaged rapidly due to overcrowding and thoughtless usage and development. This study aims to understand the characteristics of the resources and establish a database of environmentally friendly management schemes for each provincial park. The results are as follows.
1. Mt. Daedun Provincial Park, Mt. Mayi Provincial Park, and Mt. Seonun Provincial Park have well-developed rocks and stones. Especially, Mt. Mayi Provincial Park has aqueousmountain rocks and cliff rocks, so elliptical peaks with various shapes were formed, and tafoni features of the land areal so formed there.
2. Species diversity of plants in Jeonbuk Provincial Park and Mt.Daedun Provincial Park are most plentiful, having 913species. Especially Mt. Moak Provincial Park has received attention as it marks the southern skyline of people from the North race and norhern limit line of th esouthern plant. Mt. Daedun Provincial Park has the most abundant biological resource, having 273 species of insectsand goshawk, including the Chineses parrow hawk, which is National Monument No.323, and five species of Short-Eared Owl, which is National Monument No.324, two protected species of goshawk and Korean buzzard in the animal category, and as hort-tailed viper snake as a reptile in the protected wild animals category.
3. In the provincial parks, there is one piece of Geumsansa Mireukjeon, which is a national treasure, in Mt. Moak Provincial Park, and 10 pieces of treasures in the Geumsansa historic site. So, it can be said that cultural resources are abundant here. As for national monuments, there are three pieces in Mt. Seonun Provincial Parkand two piecesin Mt. Mayi Provincial Park. There are five species of birds that are national monuments in Mt. Daedun Provincial Park.
4. Mt. Daedun Provincial Park is one of the eight major parks in Korea, and it has various trees, fantastic rocks and stones, and the geographical features of the mountain are beautiful. The Camellia Forest is the most important element among the natural landscapes in Mt.Seonun Provincial Park. Mt. Moak Provincial Park is one of the four mountains that can be viewed from Honam area. The landscape is panoramic and easy to see. In Mt. Mayi Provincial Park, there is a Mayigwiun(馬耳歸雲), which makes it the best sight among the eight mountains of Jinan.
