Wibro’s unexpected slow expansion in Korea is not technological problem but the problem of business sector. Since its commercialization, the Wibro service providers have shown conservative market strategy which led to the insufficient Wibro service. Therefore, the current Wibro in Korea cannot satisfy the customers’ demand for the mobile internet. Even though Wibro is excellent technology, if the service providers are not willing to expand the Wibro service, the technology cannot avoid being useless. Accordingly, this paper analyzes the actual state of Wibro business and suggests the way Wibro service providers should pursue.
