播種時期가 율무의 飼料的 價値에 미치는 영향을 究明하고져 本試驗을 實施하였던 바 다음과 같은 結果를 얻었다.
1. 草長, 葉長, 마디 및 분열수는 3月下旬부터 4月下旬에 播種한 區가 5月에 播種한 區보다 좋았다.
2. 播種時期가 늦을수록 草長의 生育이 나쁘나 莖體當 粒數는 많았다.
3. 粗穀 生産量은 播種時期에 따라 高度의(p<0.01) 有意差가 있어 3月 20日과 4月 8日의 播種區는 10a當 各各 709.3kg 및 681.7kg으로 가장 많았고 5月以後 播種한 區는 粗穀 生産量이 떨어졌다.
4. 율무의 搗精率은 平均 40%였다.
5. 율무의 播種 適期는 3月下旬에서 4月 下旬이었다.
6. 율무의 粗蛋白質 含量은 16.47%로서 飼料 및 食糧으로서 利用價値가 기대된다.

This experiment was carried out to investigate the seeding period on the characteristics and grain production of Coix Lachryma L.
The results obtained are as follows:
1. The height of plants, leaf-size and number of tiller were higher in the treatment sown from late March to late april than in the reatment sown in May.
2. The height of plant was decreased as the seeding period progressed. However the number of seed per plant was increased as the seeding period progressed.
3. A highly (p<0.01) signifcant difference was found in the production of grain according to the seeding periods.
The treatment sown March 20 and April 8 produced 709.3 kg and 681 kg of grain per 10a., respectively and produced the highest amount among all the treatments. However the production of grain in the treatments sown after May was decreased.
4. Average rice cleaning of Coix Lachryma L. was 40%.
5. According to this experiment, the moderate seeding period of Coix Lachryma L. was from late May to late April.
6. The crude protein of grain of Coix Lachryma L. was 16.47%.
Therefore it may be concluded that Coix Lachryma L. can be used as a feed and food.
