‘자유학기제’의 수학평가 실태 및 교사 인식 탐색 = Search for the Real Condition of Mathematics Evaluation and Teachers Perception in ‘Free Semester System

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구에서는 자유학기제와 관련하여 자유학기제 수학평가 모형을 제시하고, 이를 토대로 수학평가 실태를 파악하고 분석하였다. 이를 위해 자유학기제 연구학교중에서 1개교의 수학 교과의 자유학기제 평가 계획의 수립, 평가의 실행, 평가 결과
의 활용에 대한 사례를 살펴보았다.
자유학기제 수학평가 모형에 근거하여 분석한 결과 평가 기능 면에서 형성평가, 평가 주체로서는 교사가 주도적으로 평가한 점이 아쉽고, 평가 방법 면에서는 형성평가, 서술형평가, 구술 평가 등을 실시하였으며, 결과 해석과 활용 면에서는 성장지
향평가를 지향하며, 결과에 대해 교사-학생-학부모와 연계하여 학생의 학업 성장에 대한 정보를 제공하였음을 알 수 있다.
또한 자유학기 수학평가에 참여했던 교사의 인식을 탐색한 결과 평가 영역 면에서 평가의 자율성, 학생 수준 파악, 다양한 평가, 학생의 주체적인 자기주도적 학습력, 학생의 수학에 대한 흥미에서 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었으며, 교사 신념 면에서
학생과의 관계, 수학 교사에 대한 만족도 및 자긍심, 협력 및 의사소통에 대해서도 긍정적으로 인식하고 있다고 분석된다. 더불어 앞으로 자유학기제가 2016년도부터 모든 중학교에 전면 시행될 때 수학교과 평가에서 어떤 준비가 더 필요한지 검토해
보았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study suggests the model of mathematics evaluation concerning the free semester system and grasps and analyzes the real condition of mathematics evaluation based on the model. For that, this study examines the establishment of the plan for the evaluation of free semester system of mathematics class, the implement
of the evaluation, and the case about utilization of the results of the evaluation from one school among free semester system research schools.
Based on the mathematics evaluation model in the free semester system, it leaves much to be desired that formative evaluation and teachers work mainly as a function of evaluation and a main agent of evaluation, respectively. From the side of evaluation method, formative evaluation, descriptive evaluation and oral statement test are used. Growth-oriented evaluation is aimed in terms of the interpretation and practice of the result. It is clear that teachers offer the information about students’ academic growth connecting with students, parents, and themselves.
In addition, to suggest issues and suggestions of the evaluation of mathematics classes in the free semester system, an investigation is carried out to realize that the teachers who participated in the mathematics evaluation in the free semester system have positive perception at autonomy, comprehending students’ level, various ways of
evaluation, students’ power of self-direct learning and their interests in mathematics, in the aspects of the area of evaluation. From the viewpoint of teachers’ belief, teachers are positively aware of the relationship with students, satisfaction with themselves’ job, self-esteem, cooperation and communication. In future, when the free
semester system is enforced for every middle school since 2016, this study considers which preparation would be needed for the evaluation connected with mathematics classes.
