전파응용산업의 경제적 파급효과 분석 = Economic Impact of the Spectrum Industry in the 5G Era

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The range of spectrum use is expanding to various industries due to the development of wireless network technologies such as 5G. From the point of view of a regulator who aims to promote economic development, these changes raise the need to re-classify the spectrum industry and to re-estimate its economic impact. This can contribute to quantifying the effects of spectrum policies on the allocation and refarming of the spectrum. This study estimates the economic impact of the spectrum industry that has expanded since the deployment of 5G. As a result of the inter-industry analysis, we find that the production inducement coefficient of spectrum industry is 1.9051, the value-added inducement coefficient is 0.7175, the job inducement coefficient is 7.0511, and the employment inducement coefficient is 5.7061. On the other hand, the production inducement effect is risen after the deployment of 5G, confirming that the economic impact of the spectrum industry is expanding. The results of this study can be used as basic data for establishing spectrum policies for industrial development and the efficient use of spectrum.
