합천지역 사림파의 선비정신과 작가의식 = The spirit of Seonbi and the consciousness of the writers of the Sarim school in Hapcheon

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 글은 세 가지 주제에 논의의 초점을 두고 있다. 먼저 공간적인 측면에서 합천지역의 지명변화와 함께 합천지역의 지정학적인 위치를 점검하였으며, 다음에는 시대적으로는 조선시대를 대표하면서 합천에서 출생하고 생활한 선비를 중심으로 사림파의 문학세계와 작가의식을 살펴보았다. 조선시대 대표적인 합천지역의 선비에는 만은(晩隱) 유수정(柳秀汀, 1484~1534), 신재(愼齋) 주세붕(周世鵬, 1495~1554), 남명(南冥) 조식(曺植, 1501~1572), 내암(萊庵) 정인홍(鄭仁弘, 1535~1623) 등이 있다. 이들은 모두 합천의 인물이자, 한국을 빛냈던 선비문화의 대표주자들이다. 이들은 한국사회의 지성인을 대표하는 지식인으로서 제가(齊家)와 경국(經國)의 사이에서 현명하게 심성을 수양하고 국가를 경영한 훌륭한 선비정신의 소유자이다. 마지막으로는 합천지역의 전통문화에 깊숙이 흐르는 조선전기 선비정신의 주체성과 정체성을 검토하여 오늘날 한류의 문화콘텐츠로 합천지역의 선비문화를 승화시키고자 노력하였다. 이처럼 합천지역과 전통문화인 고전문학을 결부시키는 작업은 합천지역의 문화정체성을 정립하는 일과 매우 상관성이 있으며, 합천지역에 있는 문화의 정체성을 규명하여 구성원들로 하여금 자신감과 애향심을 고취시키는 중요한 일이라고 할 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This article started by focusing the discussion on three topics. First, from a spatial perspective, the geopolitical location of the Hapcheon area was examined along with the changes in the geographical names of the Hapcheon area. In terms of time, the literary world and author consciousness of the Sarim school were examined, focusing on scholars born in Hapcheon who represented the Joseon Dynasty.
Representative figures from the Hapcheon area during the Joseon Dynasty include Man-eun (晩隱) Yu Su-jeong (柳秀汀, 1484~1534), Shinjae (愼齋) Ju Se-bung (周世鵬, 1495~1554), and Nammyeong (南冥) Jo Sik (曺植, 1501~1572), Naeam Jeong In-hong (鄭仁弘, 1535~1623), etc.
They are all figures of Hapcheon and representatives of the Seonbi culture that has graced Korea. As intellectuals who represent the intellectuals of Korean society, they possess a great spirit of goodness who wisely managed the country between the Rule Our home and the Ruling the Nation.
Based on this, we examined the subjectivity and identity of the Seonbi spirit, which flows deeply in the traditional culture of the Hapcheon region, and tried to sublimate it into the cultural contents of today's Korean-style.
In this way, the work of associating the Hapcheon region with classical literature, which is the traditional culture, is very related to the establishment of the cultural identity of the Hapcheon region, and it can be said that it is the work of establishing the identity of the culture in the Hapcheon region and inspiring the members' confidence and patriotism.
