공연예술경영분야의 연구동향에 관한 계량서지학적 분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

어느 한 분야가 하나의 학문으로서 독자적인 연구영역과 이론을 형성하여 발전해 가는 과정에서 일정 기간까지 수행된 학문 활동의 현황을 파악하는 것은 현재의 학문적 위상과 앞으로의 학문적 발전 방향을 미리 예측하는데 중요한 일이다.
본 연구에서는 계량서지학적 분석을 통해 공연예술경영분야의 연구동향을 파악하고 현재까지의 연구내용을 연도별로 세분화하여 기간별 변화현상의 흐름을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 공연예술과 예술경영의 개념 및 특성을 살펴보고 공연예술경영의 정의 및 기능을 파악하여 이를 근거로 공연예술경영의 연도별 발전과정 및 상관관계, 경영요소의 시대별 트렌드 분석을 통해 시사점을 제시하였다.
이를 위해 학술연구정보서비스(RISS)에서 국내 석·박사학위논문 검색하였고, 이 검색 결과를 대상으로 연도별, 학교별 연구동향을 살펴보았다. 논문에 사용된 서명을 분석하여 높은 빈도로 사용된 단어들을 찾아 체계적으로 구축하였다.
분석결과 공연예술분야는 음악과 무용에 반해 연극과 오페라의 연구가 적은 편이나, 뮤지컬은 2000년대 들어서 대형화되고 대중화되면서 많은 관심과 연구가 활발해짐을 알 수 있다.
공연예술경영분야에서는 관객과 매출에 직접적인 영향이 있는 마케팅분야의 연구가 가장 큰 비중을 자치하고 있고, 작품을 제작하는 생산관리와 인사관리, 특히 기업협찬과 예술지원 및 사후관리인 회계를 포함한 재무관리기능의 연구는 부족한 것으로 나타난다. 공연산업의 지속적인 발전을 위해서는 재무관리는 필수적이므로 체계적인 연구가 절실히 요구된다 하겠다.
아직까지 문헌의 연구가 다양성을 확보하지 못하고 있으며, 다양한 분야에서 예술경영 전문가들의 연구 활동을 활발하게 담아내고 있지 못하는 것이 사실이지만, 본 연구가 국내 공연예술경영분야의 연구현황과 동향을 파악하고 향후 공연예술경영분야의 방향을 모색하는데 기초자료가 되었다는 점에 큰 의의가 있다고 하겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In the process of a certain area's forming and developing its own research field and theory as a learning, it is important to understand the current situation of academic activities performed by a certain period for prediction of the present academic status and the future direction of academic development.
In this study, based on understanding of the research trends in the area of performing arts management through biblometric analysis, it subdivides the researches made until the present by year to analyze the flow of change phenomenon by period. For this, it examines the concept and characteristic of performing arts and arts management and based on the understanding of the definition and function of performing arts management, it presents the implications through analysis on the yearly developing process and its correlation of performing arts management as well as on the historical trends of managing elements.
For this, it searched domestic master's and doctor's theses from RISS and examines research trend by year and school of the search results. It analyzes the name of books used for theses to look for the words of high frequency and establish them systematically.
As the results from analysis, it finds out that for the area of performing arts, while researches of play and opera are comparatively less than the ones of music and dance, there shows more interest in and lively researches of musical as it becomes bigger and popularized entering into the 2000s.
For the area of performing arts management, it finds out that the researches of marketing having direct effect on audience and sales take the biggest account, while the researches of production management to produce works and personnel management, especially the ones of financial management function including corporate sponsorship and support to arts as well as accounting as the follow-up management are lacking. To keep continuous development of performing industry, systematic research is urgently needed as the financial management is essential.
While it is true that neither diversity of literature research has been secured yet nor active researches are performed by arts management experts in various areas, this study is of great significance as it presents a basic material to understand the current situation and trends in the area of domestic performing art management and seek future direction for the development in the area of performing arts management.
