(abstract) In this paper, temperature characteristic for the effective temperature compensation method of silicon strain gauge in presented, A p-type resistor of [010] direction on(001) plane for the temperature sensing resistor is detected only the resistance change by the temperature variation. However, it is not detected the deformation of the diaphragm caused by the pressure. Thus, the temperature sensing resistor is able to provide the correct resistance value corresponding to the temperature in the any position of the diaphragm. It is advantageous to use a p-type silicon diffused resistor of <100>equivalent direction on (001) plane for the temperature sensing resistor cause the resistance is dependant on the temperature regardless of the deformation on the diaphragm.
